Brief & Background
We were called upon to provide a solution to prevent injury in a bathroom with shower area to prevent injury to the user.
Our Solution
As the whole area required padding and would frequently become wet, we had to use waterproof components in all areas.
Utilising a WPBP plywood backing, closed cell foam that will not absorb water and a tough vinyl covering a waterproof solution was created. As an extra measure we sealed all panels, top and bottom, to stop water getting down the back of the wall panels.
The Process
The end result is tough, durable waterproof wet room that provides maximum protection to the user. Installation took one and a half days.
