We were asked to propose a specification, then install, a safe space in a special school located in the South West of England. Our customer needed a safe and calming area for the children, to help them return from a highly agitated state and also a place for soft play.
Once we had completed a full site survey and measure we produced around 70% of the floor and wall panels in our factory. Once on site we fabricated the remaining, more complicated, panels on site. This method allowed us to create the ultimate fit and finish and provide a wrinkle free finish to all of the panels.
Specifically designed impact padding was used throughout and the customer selected the ‘Cool Blue’ finish from one of 54 colour options available in our CRIB 5 FR Leatherette finish.
The soft and protective surface was an instant hit with the staff. The natural light was enough to keep the room looking bright and airy on all but the dullest day.
Within three months of completing the installation we were back to the school to install a second room for them – a great testament to the works completed!
This installation took 7 hours to complete, this created minimum disruption for the school and allowed them to use the room the following school day.
