Our brief was simple, to create a safe environment for the individual while incorporating items of furniture that were essential for maintaining an environment for positive living.
Apex wall panels and floor panels were used to create a safe space, a bed, desk, doors and all services within the room were to remain in place and usable.
The 'mid blue' colour option was selected, a bold but bright colour choice was perfect for this well lit area.
Safety Padding GB Ltd used 3 different thicknesses of our Apex Safety Padding product; 50mm for the walls, 80mm for the doors to fill the recesses and 20mm for the floor to allow easy transitions.
Due to the complexity of the services within the room we spent a total of 3 days on site.
From a standard room to all surfaces covered, with a safe and highly durable padding system, handed back to the client within a week.
